CILJ:
REZULTATI:
Pozitivnu alergijsku reakciju imalo je 58,65% pacijenata ženskog
i 58,47% pacijenata muškog spola, bez statističke značajnosti (P>0.05).
(12,82%), Kalijum dihromat (11,22%) i Kobalt hlorid (9,94%), a u
muškog spola su to: Kalij dihromat (24,04%), Kobalt hlorid (17,49%),
zatim Parafenilendiamin (12,02%) i Nikal sulfat (9,84%). Srednja
± 9,44 godina, a žena bez alergijske reakcije 36,16 ±9,75 godina

AIM:
The purpose of this study is to analyze relationship between specific
allergens towards gender and age structure of patients with contact
allergic dermatitis (CAD).
SUBJECTS
AND METHODS: Having applied retrospective analysis of 495 persons
has been examined in total with clinical CAD (183 were men-37% and
321-63% women). With regards to their age it varied from 18-60 years
of age. All patients were exposed to patch examination of standard
series of 18 allergens as integral part of European Standardized
Series.
RESULTS:
Positive allergic reaction was noticed with 58,65% of female patients,
and 58,47% of male patients, without significant statistical difference
(P>0,05). We found difference in frequency of caused allergens and
in female patients has been proved in following allergens: Nickel
sulphate (27,56%), Parafenylendiamin (12,82%), Potassium dichromate
(11,22%), and Cobalt-chloride (9,94%). And in male patients has
been proved: Potassium dichromate (24,04%), Cobalt chloride (17,49%),
Parafenylendiamin (12,02%), and Nickel sulphate (9,84%). Average
age of women patients with positive reaction was 33,79 +/- 9,44;
and average age of women who did not have reaction is 36,16 +/-
9,75 (P<0,05). Average age of male patients with the positive reaction
was 35,62 +/- 10,55 and age of men without reaction was 38,29 +/-
9,75 (P< 0,05).
CONCLUSION:
Both sexes gave the equal immune response to exposure to contact
allergens, but differences were determined in the category of the
type of standard allergens. In both sexes younger patients are more
sensitive to contact allergens.
